1- Choose a project and destination
WHO?
English-speaking volunteers 18 years and over, or those volunteering with a parent or guardian are eligible to apply.
WHEN?
Volunteer programs begin full-year (January - December).
WHERE?
Volunteer placements are located in Phnom Penh, Kratie and Prey Vang provinces.
HOW MUCH?
Volunteer program fees: No Charge
HOW MANY?
Between 5 and 15 volunteers start on our volunteer program in Cambodia each month, making us one of the most popular volunteer organizations in Cambodia!
Please choose a destination and the project you wish to volunteer on, as well as the dates you wish to volunteer.
2- Apply
Complete and submit our online application form with the details of your chosen program and dates. You will then receive an email confirming that RIS has received your application. Within 72 hours (3 working days), you will receive an email from your RIS Project Manager acknowledging your application and confirming the destination, project and dates of your volunteer program. In this email, you will receive more information about your chosen program, which is required to confirm your booking with RIS.
3- Register
After registering, you’ll also receive dedicated support from your RIS Project Manager to help you prepare for your upcoming volunteer program.
4- Prepare

Read your program guide so you are informed on what to expect on your program, visa requirements, vaccinations, safety tips, local customs, packing lists, and other essential information

Book your flights and submit your arrival details so we can organize your airport pick-up with our school team.
